Francis Companions Ministry

The mission of the Companions Ministry is to provide companionship to those in nursing homes and the homebound.

The ministry serves those needing companionship in a number of ways including:

  • Periodic visits to those in nursing homes
  • Periodic visits to the homebound

The ministry also serves in bringing the Eucharist to those in nursing homes and the homebound.

Should you wish to volunteer for this ministry you could minister to those in need of companionship by:

  • Visiting someone in a nursing home on a regular basis
  • Visiting someone that is homebound on regular basis

Also if you are a Eucharistic Minister you could volunteer to bring the Eucharist to those whom this ministry serves.

Should you or someone you know have any need for this ministry, or should you wish to learn more about volunteering for service in this ministry, please contact:

“Agape, the love of each one of us for the other, from the closest to the furthest, is in fact, the only way that Jesus has given us to find the way of salvation and of the Beatitudes”. (Pope Francis)
